Now a 6 times finalist and 4 times prizewinner in performing arts Hugh added a Certificate of Special Mention in an online Concert Piano Final with LCMC this year to his collection in addition to the 20 euro voucher he gained in the HOFA Song Contest 2021. The pieces performed were Mozart Sonata Facile K.545 III Rondo and his own piece, Merlyn's Dance. At HOFA, the winning song was Reem's Valentines Gift. As he continues to pick up prizes and finals, he is finally flowering as a musician in his five disciplines of Production, Composition, Singing, Piano and Violin. He recently gained his BASIC Course and German Certified Audio Engineering Assistant Certificate from HOFA College, as part of his BA in Audio Engineering and Music Production. He has just gained a private composition tutor in Maja Matic from the Royal Conservatory at the Hague in Holland. Hugh also acquired a private tutor in piano who is a former National Hungarian Champion. In February, he gained a Certificate of Completion for a Short Course in Film Music for Beginners at GSMD with tutor Barbara Di Biasi. He is now studying creative writing at Oxford Continuing Education as well. Another album should be released later this month. Next month he is off to London to meet with Ralph Allwood MBE for a Eton Choral Course Reunion Evensong at Temple Church and then has an audition for the excellent Aldeburgh Voices. Watch out for 2 new releases a single this month on 21st and an album next month on the 19th.
