Neuro Music Academy & Concert Hall

Chamber Music Hall and Multimedia Hall in combination with the Campus Hotel "Das Morgen"
The concert opens in February 2023 and will seat 280 guests and its main planning focus is the excellency of its acoustics for multiple purposes. The recording studio which offers the possibility of top-quality sound recordings will also be a feature of this venue.

The combination of the different parts has to become one place of innovation and the fusion of theory and practice.
Mini-festivals of 2-4 evenings each are planned for about 14 weekends per year. In the first year, a total of 45 concerts will take place, and in the following years the number will be increased. Although classical music is a kind of central genre, jazz, pop, electronica or choir concerts are also - and with no less affection - an important factor for the positioning of the institution.
During the day, the hall can be used as a rehearsal stage and recording studio for various artists.

The Neuro Music Academy concerns itself with the future of music in all its aspects, and with music’s potential as a social art form. Insights from the field of neuroscience are linked to the practice of music and to musical education/ communication/ outreach activities.

Our main objectives are to promote music, foster musicality, and encourage individual musical practice. With those aims in mind, the Neuro Music Academy also places great emphasis on physical and mental health and the development of musical personality.

The Neuro Music Academy offers a variety of different formats. These include the Chamber Music Academy, the “Musikita” (a public daycare center so our youngest), advanced training courses, workshops, and the Neuro Music Forum. These are all held in the Neuro Campus at Das Morgen in Vitznau — an outstanding setting, with outstanding facilities.

Our Partner Hotel the Park Hotel Vitznau, which is located a few walking minutes away has a hall with a wonderful Rieger salon organ, chamber music concerts are also held here.
