Filum Ensemble für Alte Musik Hannover

Since 2015 the Ensemble FILUM from Hannover is developing innovative programs which present music from renaissance and baroque. Based on historic performance practice the mixed vocal and instrumental ensemble repeatedly relies on scenic elements to create a jointly musical experience in which the boundaries between stage and auditorium are fluid.

„Off the stage, into life“ is the motto of their programs, which take place across generations and in a way that creates community – not only for but with the audience. Interactive music experiences, on site, close to people and approachable.
In this way, early music can be experienced with new ears, all senses and its diverse emotional and thematic references become present.
