Since the opening of the Digital Concert Hall in 2008, the Berliner Philharmoniker have broadcast more than 400 concerts live and released them as recordings on their subsidiary, Berlin Phil Media. In addition, videotapes of concerts from the tenures of Herbert von Karajan and Claudio Abbado are shown on this video platform, so that the artistic work of the Berliner Philharmoniker during the past decades can be relived virtually unbroken. Nearly all the great conductors and soloists of this time and more than 1,700 works from the repertoire can now be found in the Digital Concert Hall. There are also recordings of events from the Education Programme and more than 200 interviews with artists.
