Using 18th century music as a starting point (Telemann’s Twelve Fantasies for Solo Flute), recorder virtuoso Genevieve Lacey has created Soliloquy – a work which straddles multiple genres and transforms one solo performer sharing her innermost musical secrets, fragilities, rages and passions, into an amplified multi-genre live experience, involving the participation of one professional musician, one professional dancer and 60 untrained performers of all ages and backgrounds.
